Hello Guys,

I'm wondering on which site I could find the best advanced photoshop tutorials ?

I navigates across several sites, but many times it is a bit to general.

Any suggestions ?

Blake Rudis is doing a 100+ hour top to bottom Photoshop training session. You can watch a new segment live for free each day. When it is all been broadcasted, CreativeLive wants $150 for it.

It's difficult and depends what you mean by 'advanced'. I have found I have to listen though many hours to get a few things that will really make a difference.

However, I have picked up a number of good tips and techniques that I had not seen elsewhere from this guy:

He definitely knows PS very well. You might start with the videos that look like they might be the most useful to you.

I don't know if he's "advanced" but his site and Youtube channel are quite informative.

You can start here on his site.

Hello Guys,

I'm wondering on which site I could find the best advanced photoshop tutorials ?

Can you more specific about your goals? Retouchers who specialize in beauty and glamour (like for glossy magazines such as Elle and Harper's) might not be adept at compositing. On the other hand, those who do killer composites might not be schooled in the fine points of editing skin, makeup, hair, etc. You can find advanced tutorials in either specialty (as well as others).

My goals are mostly in landscape photography,

I'm looking for written tutorials with screenshots of the step by step process. Or even entire workflows in photoshop. A kind of site that I can suscribe to the newsletter and discover new tips and techniques every week.

By the way, Phlearn.com is really excellent, but in landscape topic, they don't cover everything yet.

Yes, Dave Morrow is really good and advanced ! He covers really original topics and personal techniques he developed. I'm suscribed to his channel, and really enjoy to learn from him. He is also really productive in videos this year, I highly recommend people to check his tutos !

I just watched Dave Morrow's color theory. It's definitely one of the best I have seen and gave me an idea for analyzing images that I used on some that I'd been having trouble with the colors on. Allowed me to figure out what color tweaks I needed/wanted.

The idea was just to isolate the hues in an image and plot a histogram of them. Funny how you think you understand something, but someone will explain it in a different way, or just at a different time and it will give you ideas. And then you think - doh, why didn't I think of that before.
