You may wish to consider jumping from the Lexar brand to Sandisk. For what it is worth, reviews on Amazon indicate (for Lexar) 25% total forl 3-star or lower and the average of all reviews is about 3.5. When you look at specific reviews, many are for card failures, in some instances the card is only a few months old. There are also quite a few problems caused by counterfeit cards. In contrast, Sandisk is about 13% total 3-star or below and the average is about 4.5.
I have long preached that a key factor in these cards is to know your source, and Amazon is not necessarily the best. Here in the States, Best Buy (BB) at the Corporate levels makes all purchases direct from the Sandisk importer. These cards are then disseminated down to the individual stores. There is no middleman. This process, at least in my mind insures that the risk of a counterfeit card is minimal. "Yes", the price at your local Best Buy might be a bit higher than an online source, but generally only by a few $$. Again, here in the States, our BB will match legitimate prices, even from online sources, so if you find a better deal on Amazon take the ad to the store and the price generally will be matched.
