I have a 4TB with thunderbolt port on the way. Does anyone use one currently?

The AC powered version? I've been noticing them dropping in price lately. B&H has it for $255. I might jump on that or the G DRIVE evRAw drive at $170. I'd like to keep the platter speed up for read/write speeds.
