Stay with 6D or go 5Diii

Always wanted a 5Diii but when I got my 6D, the 5D was a bit more than I wanted to spend. So 6D it was. I’ve been really happy with the 6D but wondering if getting a 5Diii now would be a smart move. I know the processor in the 6D is newer, so I’m confused. Is the 5Diii better than the 6D. With the 5Div out, nobody’s talking about the 5Diii. Opinions please.

There's no IQ upgrade with the 5D3, but I think it's main advantage over the 6D is the modern AF system (61 AF points and several tracking options). Both cameras actually share the same DIGIC 5+ processor. You may grow to like the 5D3 interface: which has less menu driven controls, and more customization. It's a heavier body...which I personally prefer: I also have a vertical grip, and it fits my hands well. There are other features like 1/8000 shutter speed, higher sync speed, more video features. If you shoot video, the 5D3 also has a silent control mode (where you can tap on the quick dial for video controls).
