Excellent shots. I always have a tough time getting close to those birds.

Thank you Larry. I too have had problems getting up close to them. Notice that on the close up I had a lot of magnification (500mm lens with 2x converter).

Chris and Brad...Thank you both for the nice compliments. I enjoyed watching the young cormorants feed. They could certainly use a little etiquette training when it comes to table manners.

Very nice shots. I particularly like the in flight - the clouds make it. And the greenish-yellow lagoon shot is perfect.
