Taken just out side the pumpkin patch my 2 and 4 year old planted with me. While I like the pic, I am not so happy to see those chompers as I know what his plan is.

Look closely and check out the bottom teeth.

What species is this? . In what area (country / region) was it photographed?

Not sure specific gopher species but central California, 15 mile NE of Monterey.
