Took me a while to be happy with sony colors , especially skin tones.
I was eventually able to figure something out that worked for me.
To me the issue is in the oranges/reds saturation and hues . Took a bit of tweaking there

No I completely understand that side. Just one of those things

Right now I haven’t done any color science. Been shooting and transferring to my phone. Haven’t really messed with the Raws yet.

I actually prefer Fuji skin tones the most and canon contrast the most.

I have a hard time with color so I’m taking a let me worry about it later approach. I’m not going to let color get in the way for a camera that fits my needs better.

You better start worrying about your Sony files. So far your files that I've seen via cellphone transfer has hard colours with alot of contrast. So far from stuff you've posted with easy peasy eyecandy fuji files.

I must in due time experiment with studio strobes using my A7iii.

The difference in Sony and Canon RAW file manipulation in LR is a complete 180 degree approach from what I am experiencing. As a learning curve I'm almost taking 50% more time post processing as it's more difficult to batch file from the files I've shot so far.

Still would like a water resistant speedlight but not a deal breaker. It's just something I've never ever had to think about using a Canon flash (non 430 ex series)

Shoot now ask questions later.

I’ll get to the post eventually.
