Hawk

I found this guy (gal?) during an early morning walk a while back. I've done what I know how to do in regards to editing but is there something I can do to make the bird pop out or separate from the trees a bit more? The branches are making making things look a little too busy I think. Thanks.

A nice capture of an adult Red-shouldered Hawk you have here. I don’t think you can do much with the shot. (If it were mine I wouldn’t try anything.) You could try to clone some of the branches out but probably won’t look good. There is just to much going on there. Good luck on what you decide to do.

I'd consider cropping out the branched on the right, if there is enough resolution to do so and still have a nice picture.

If you have Lightroom, try playing with the radial filter. But a good shot nonetheless.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll play a bit with the radial filter in LR and give cloning out some branches a shot.
