Just curious who might be using their AD600's for spoirts, primarily ski/snowboard photography? I'm heading up to a local mountain on Sunday and can't wait to finally put it to use! Bringing a long throw reflector. hoping to have lots of fun! :D

Share your sports related images shot with the AD600 and please share which modifier/s were used.

Bringing this up. Did you ever shoot and post examples?

I am going to start shooting mountain bike photography, and really leaning towards an AD600. Currently I have some Yongnuo speedlights (non HSS or TTL) and they gave me good results for skateboarding at dusk, but I want to be able to shoot HSS and get enough power to still be useable.

A good long throw reflector (sometimes called a sports reflector) is a big help because it gives you maximal output.

In Elinchrom, the Maxi Spot and High Performance are good examples. I get good results with this from the Godox AD360. How deep you place the bulb can have a significant impact on output.

Naturally, you will want a Bowens connector reflector if you are using the AD600. I understand the 600 places the flash tube less deep than some Bowens mounts, which could be a factor.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

I’ve watched one of his videos already. I’ll be sure to watch the others.
