Help With Focus Stacking

I have LR6 and Adobe Elements and I don't think Elements will let me get there. Is there another option that is not expensive and easy to learn because it's hard to teach an old dog new software. I am not well versed in Elements but LR is easy for me.

I heard there is a free version of Zerene stacker. Not sure what the limitation of the free version is though (could be pixels or 8-bit). If 8-bit, then you will want to apply some pre-processing to the images in LR first, export them and then use the stacker. I would then import the result back into LR for final edits, sharpening etc..

I haven't used Zerene, but it should be easy to use - most focus stackers are pretty automated these days. The bells-and-whistles in the stacking programs are for the 10% of more complicated situations, usually you just import the files, press 'stack' and get a pretty decent to excellent result.
