I recently purchased a Flashpoint R2 (rebranded Godox X1) ETTL trigger and R2 Zoom ETTL flash.

Is there any way to make this flash work in live view off camera with the trigger?

I replaced an old Sigma flash to ditch the TTL cable. The Sigma worked in live view with the cable.

Since most of my ETTL flash work is spiders at night, I'd really like to be able to use live view with the flash.

Does anyone know how to make this work?

Turn off the custom function ‘silent shooting in live view’.

You’re welcome ;)
