My dilemma is exactly as in the title - I want to get a Pixi Evo for low to ground/tabletop use. But I want a clamp for it that will work with my plate on my camera - I don't want to have to take the3 plate off every time and screw the caera dirictly into the mini tripod. Would something like this work? https://www.amazon.ca …smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1 (external link) Or this? https://www.amazon.ca …?smid=A9M8PF7TMJFVZ&psc=1 (external link)

Thanks!

The smaller fishbone shaped one (https://www.amazon.ca …?smid=A9M8PF7TMJFVZ&psc=1 (external link)) will work on pixi evo with the screw adapter. I'm not sure about the larger clamp due to lack of pictures for the mount, but the description sounds like it has the same mount and should also work.

I recommend spending just a little more and look at either the Feisol TT-15 or the FLM CP10, depending on the weight of the camera you want to use.

Thanks, John, for your reply. At first glance I can't either of those 2 mini tripods in Canada. I'll keep looking. And as for the clamp, thank for confirming that I can use a clamp like I listed above...

According to the description, the larger clamp comes with 1/4" adapter, so it should work.

Yes but the FLM site doesn't sell from the site itself, and none of the the Canadian dealers listed sell the mini tripod you mentioned.
