I have an 80D and considering picking up a used 6D, since they can be had for a song these days. Would be a good foray into FF, no? It would be used mostly for motorsports.

I've had success using it for sports and the low light performance is good for indoor games. For $899. that's a good deal.

I think it's likely you will have better results with the 80D over the 6D
