A great week. I enjoyed the pics very much. I had plans to take down a glass mobile and focus stack and what not, but I was down with the flu all week (still recovering), so this afternoon I just climbed on a ladder and photographed the thing in situ.

I picked this up years ago, not even sure where or why, but it's been in my bedroom forever.

This is beautiful.

So sorry about the flu. It just saps all your energy. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, the flu does sap all one's energy indeed. I was in bed most of last week. But I'm feeling a lot better now, some sniffing and coughing still, but able to go out again. And spring has arrived here, which is wonderful and which until now I have pretty much missed...

So this was made for me by a friend..
The idea came from a Birthday, long ago.. This was what the cake looked like
then done in glass. A very beautiful surprise and gift.
