Beautiful, brother Moose. What species is that? We don't have them here in Vegas.

High praise from the hummingbird master, brother Moose. It is a Broad-billed Hummingbird from Patagonia AZ. They are mostly a Mexican species, but with a small, migrant, breeding population in SE AZ. Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it.

Guess I should've seen the title
Someone posted a link to the pictures, but I didn't look at the thread title.

Anyway, gorgeous critter.

Very nice Al! Another month and we should see the Ruby throated variety in my area.

Thanks, Sandy. We are in the same boat as you, with only the Ruby-throated variety.

Thank you, my friend. Actually, I first saw and photographed them last year, but I did a better job this time around. So it goes.

Very nice!

Thank you both for commenting; I appreciate it. I was most pleased to see this species again this year and to be able to get better photos of them than previously.
