Hi Guys

My first post...

I have a Nikon SB-910 flash which I have used remotely many times but it almost requires direct line of sight to the (D750) camera flash to trigger it. I want to use the SB-910 to backlight (outdoors at night) so that the subject is illuminated from behind or else the distant background is illuminated.

If I want to set up the flash directly behind the subject the triggering by the flash on the camera is compromised unless the camera is positioned relatively close (at least within 5-7m) to the remote flash.

Other than a battery operated light, is there any other device or set up that can be used to trigger the remote from further away?
