I have some reflectors and similar flip-open lastolite backgrounds whose bags / zippers have died or are threatening to do so.

Does anyone know of suitable thin, round lightweight bags that could replace these?

Thanks for any suggestions...

Owen.

I know that Manfrotto / Lastolite / Gitzo have a spares department in the UK so that may be an option for your country or there's the possibility of new zips sewn in yourself at a local repairers... Might be worth going for chunkier / metal zips if you go this way.

If in the US, try inquiring to the Support department at Manfrotto US

Like a Tenba Sling bag? I'd search the B&H website and find all kinds of options.

I have a 22-inch Hensel beauty dish bag that will take any pop-up reflector smaller than 5x7. I can stuff five or six reflectors into it.

A 22-inch cymbal bag will probably hold one or two.

The Fotoconic 22" Beauty Dish bag available on Amazon for a lot less than the Hensel bag looks like it would also work (a beauty dish bag needs to have parallel sides).

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I hadn't really considered asking Lastolite (Manfrotto) if they could help. But given the cost of the backdrops, maybe I'll see...

Oh - the cymbal bag idea was good, but my backdrops are too big for 22". So, i found a nice 40" "gong bag" for $80 on Amazon that looks like it would hold a couple, and has a shoulder strap too.

Lord knows what typing in "gong bag" will do to my Amazon search profile. It sounds illicit somehow...

Owen.
