I want a Canon 5D 4, but can't come anywhere near the asking prices of the ones in good shape. . So I am hoping that someone has one that is all beat up that will be a lot cheaper than the "going rate" for ones in good condition.
I will be able to pay as much as $1600.
I don't care if it has dents and gouges in the magnesium body, or deep scratches on the LCD screen, or a hot shoe that is mangled and unusable, or 300,000 actuations on the shutter, or a battery door that will not stay shut without duct tape, or if one of the card slots is all jammed up and unable to receive a card. .. None of that matters as long as it can still take good photos and the electronics still work.
If you have such a camera, and think that you'll never be able to sell it, well then you're wrong, because I would be glad to buy it.
