That’s a really cool bicycle rack, fotoi. Cool pic too!

Thanks. Sadly they often go unused in many places in the U.S. (except for large urban areas), since many Americans drive their cars most places. Unlike Amsterdam, where our guide told us many commuters ride their bikes to the train station, take the train into the city, then pick up a second bike and ride to work. Now that's amazing!

FYI, the background is only a sheet of shiny black poster board that I set the thimble on. The colors in it are effects of late-afternoon window light.

Yes, she made it for a close friend's birthday.

It was chocolate with a chocolate mousse filling and a mocha buttercream frosting.

She saved me a slice  and it was delicious!

She isn't a pastry chef, just someone who really enjoys baking and decorating cakes.

Me? I just enjoy eating the finished product. :-D

That's quite a cemetery, Don. We were in Savannah several years ago and had a local amateur historian give us a guided tour. It was quite interesting to learn some of the history.

Green Gargoyles, maybe not as Grand as their Parisian counterparts, but just as Grotesque.
