I always did like a nice unassuming colour scheme. Not something you could easily hide is it

On my way home from the MotoGP races, I stopped by the San Marcos, Texas airport to snap a few pics of FIFI and DIAMOND LIL. The two WWII bombers were here over the weekend for the Commemorative Air Force "Air Power Tour"

I was too vacationing this summer somewhere after the third peninsula

Not very often do I get a chance to photograph a Float Plane,I was in Algonquin PP in Ontario Canada, photographing the wonderful colours of fall when I came across a rare opportunity too photograph a Ministry of Natural Resources taking off on Opeongo lake.

That's a beautiful photo.
Doing just what they were designed for.
Had an only trip in one years ago when they flew us into a site for a survey of a jetty up the mighty Gordon River.
This reminds me in a small way of that.

I see where the house I used to live in, in Glyfada is a parking structure now, the planes used to fly by pretty low on their approach to the airport there.

This airport and the former US base are abandoned now, going to be a recreational area.
It was very terrifying when shopping in the main street a giant 747 was coming towards us just a little bit over our heads.

I liked seeing the planes, I worked in Aerospace most of my life. I looked on Google maps street view and hardly recognized the area where I lived, I guess that land was just too valuable to be wasted on homes, the apartment that was across the street is still there though.
