I live under the final approach for Boeing Field (King Count Airport) Seattle, on the north end. Over the years I've seen a few of these land, they are an amazing sight seeing the landing gear and size of the airplane. BTW, I've lived here for 32 years, the jet noise is dramatically less now than it was when I moved in, It's not even an issue anymore. I think the planes are 4 to 5 hundred meters altitude when overhead.

Would you like to buy a vowel?
Go ahead, spin the wheel.

I'm accross the canal just south of Ballard, the town Seattle usurped in 1907.

He was too chicken Jack

I'm curious? The road both sides dips and dives under the taxiway, but the canal doesn't? -?

I have flown in to Shiphol in 2004 when I was collecting out new left hand drive car before moving to France and I don't remember seeing anything like that, but it's a big place!

This canal is for pumping away the water after rainfall. It is about 4 meter below sealevel. this canal is not in use by ships. For the cars they made a dip, so they can drive under the bridge.

This is the last ever British Airways Boeing 747 to depart from London Heathrow. It landed at Cotswold Airport (Kemble) where it is being preserved and will be used to hold functions on board.

The 747 above is lucky to be preserved. The majority of the rest of the aeroplanes arriving here are to be scrapped.

Great view from above, and nose shots!

When I was an avionics tech for Pan Am I did maintenance on the very first 747.
Sad to see them go. Boeing will end production in 2022.

That looks like Kemble Mark?

If so then if you had panned round to the left, just to the left and behind the tower you would seem XM496. The ex R.A.F. Bristol Britannia. She was one of the 'Brits' that I worked on in the early to mid 60s at R.A.F. Lyneham and then again for around 4 years in the late 90s/early 2000s.

That's a cracker Manny and it really shows up the 4 20mm Hispanol cannon mounts, below the 4 browning .303 machine guns. Not the sort of aircraft you would want to be on the receiving end of
