No, but you're looking at the right kind of things. Take a look at the shadows and reflections on the sides of the pub.

Bingo. Very good.

The sun was coming through the trees on the right at about a 2 o'clock angle, lighting up the right side of the building. You can see that the camera side of the sign and the drainpipe are in shade, just like the front of the building.

Way over on the left, there is a sliver of building in the background. You can see the 3 windows. I burned that down since it was crazy hot, but you can see its true intensity in the reflection in the window on the left of the pub. Again, the light crawling up that red wall from behind.

This isn't a great picture, but I thought the symmetry of the building combined with the symmetry of the light made it a little bit interesting.
