Is there a way to choose what size PS will open a document? For instance, if I want to use PS to open photos to a default size of 100%, can I do that? I looked through the preferences and didn't see any thing that seemed to address this. As of now, it seems like PS opens my files a little smaller than "fit on screen" and that is never a size I want to start working with. Thanks!

I use the command +/- or the mouse scroll wheel on my Mac to zoom whatever photoshop opens.

I’m sure I’d you google search your exact question you’ll get an answer if there is one.

That's correct. The next nearest standard zoom level below fit on screen. The standard zoom levels are 100, 66.7, 50, 33.3, 25, 16.7, 12.5, etc. As controlled by the Ctrl + and - keys, as mentioned above.

Fit to screen = command - zero

100% = command - one

Press F first to go to full screen.

Windows = control, i think

No. Just open the file and then hit Ctrl-Alt-0 and that will zoom the view to 100%.

I don’t think you have to hit “Alt”. I believe CTRL+0 will work.

No, that's fit to screen.
