Is there anybody here who is using Sigma Art lenses on a Sony a7r III as native lens without adapter?
Is focusing fast and accurate? How about low light? All focusing modes (eye tracking, etc.) work on the Sony?
Thanks!

I have not shot much in stressful lighting conditions. Eye auto-focus works, but not as good as with a native lens. (I have the Sony FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA) I also have the Sigma 85 and 135mm art lenses. I have not had the camera long enough to delve into situations where lighting causes problems, but in general I am very happy with the combinations. Hope this helps, 110yd Thanks!

Art 35mm 1.4 + MC-11 on 3rd gen body is a vast improvement over the older gen. However you still cannot compete with native lenses or Canon setup. 10+ years with Canon, now new fresh air with Sony Full Frame

This only makes sense. Where this will be noticeable is anyone's guess, but most likely in challenging AF conditions or possibly better Eye-AF tracking.

i used the 135 art with an mc-11/a9, and the exif info indicated 13-14fps, with continuous af/ae... i was shooting action sports(beach soccer), and it had accurate af. Media Technology, Cameras & Photos

Has anyone have any experience that they can share with us? I am very close to pulling the trigger on the 35mm and just want to hear from someone in the know.
