Exhibit and book release

Hey everyone,

Just found out I am going to have an exhibit in June at Rangefinder Gallery 300 W Superior in Chicago. Opening will be on Friday June 1.

Now all I have to do is print, mount, mat and frame the exhibit and hope the books are finished by then because I hope it will be a book release exhibit. I am in full on panic mode. I hope that a few of you from the area can make it. I will post an official invite as soon as it is all ready to go.

The book and the exhibit title is "Streets, Alleys and Other Urban Observations"

Be interested to know what system you used and if you would recommend it. Am at the planning stages of my first photobook and looking for recommendations.

It's so cool when you work on something and it is finally finished and out there in physical form for others to see/interact with. I remember walking into a video games store many years ago and seeing the first game I worked on sitting on the shelves.

Hoping to have the same feeling with my first photobook in the not too distant future.

Launch day nears. How goes the prep work? Did the book printer get everything done with time to spare? I hope your opening night goes smoothly.

Thanks George and to luckless YES the books arrived and the samples I looked at all look great. Work is printed, matted and framed and will be delivered on Tuesday. Thanks so much for asking.....
