Show was a success. The small gallery was absolutely packed so if I didn't get a chance to say hi to anyone from here that came I apologize. I was truly humbled by the turnout. We brought way more books than I ever thought we could sell and we ran out of books. Sold several prints and I got to see several people that I hadn't seen in a very long time. For all of this I am truly grateful...

ha ha...I think I remember talking to you now. THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by. It seems like I couldn't finish a sentence without getting pulled away for something. Have a few red dots to so it's all good just wish that I could have had at least one really good conversation. sjones from here also came by. I was truly humbled by the turnout. There were some extremely talented people in the room Some amazing photographers, artists, business leaders, healers (Drs and nurses), educators, social workers and so many other interesting people from many different areas of interest. Thanks again for helping make it all a success.

I can personally attest; the prints at the showing were superb, and the book is absolutely worth it! And no, I’m not getting a cut…

Update for those interested.

The show came down at the end of June and we sold all the books I had brought and I brought more than I thought i would ever sell at the opening and sold these 4 prints.

. . . and sold these 4 prints.

Good for you! Do individuals buy "street" prints for their homes? Are the customers business owners who want prints in a commercial space? Or collectors? I'm asking what the market is.

Thanks and lovers of street photography surely do. Usually people that are really into art and photography as an art form. Some are collectors.

Well done Allen, on selling all the books, and the prints.

Do you mind if I ask what size are those prints? By my estimation they look like they are 20×16 frames, printed in 3:2 ratio 16" wide. I would also be interested in what they were printed on.

Thanks

Alan

Hi Alan,

The prints were approx 12 X 18 on 20 X 24 4 ply museum board with 20 X 24 4 ply museum board over mats in flat black metal frames and most were printed on Maob Lasal exhibition luster paper.
