I have a shoot coming up where I need to be in a couple of the photos (just from being pragmatic). To not break the theme, my plan has been to use a very small remote trigger like the canon RC-6 (or Amazon equivalent) so that I can hide it in my hand and keep the remote from showing in the final image. That said, I'm not sure the remote will work if I use it that way (I can be sure that I wont always be able to point it towards the camera). Does anyone have any other ideas of how I can beat this obstacle? Thanks.

Just set a timer on your camera, i.e. 2 seconds or 10 seconds. That'll give you time to hide your hand.

Interesting, with the delay I could also drop the remote out of sight. That might work.
