I set up a zenfolio account. I'm trying to map my domain name to it. The domain is registered at Godaddy, but the zenfolio instructions are beyond confusing. I'm sure I have it set up the way zenfolio wants, but it won't map. Has anyone done this successfully?
Thanks.

I admit I know nothing about how Zenfolio works but I would think that, in addition to any settings on Zenfolio, you also need to alter the DNS settings at Godaddy to point the domain to the Zenfolio servers. Have you done this?

I don't think you have to do anything in Zenfolio, it's what you set up your domain to point o.

www.jakehegnauer.com (external link)

That will bring you to my Zenfolio. I could have it point to any page.

EDIT: I just looked at my Zenfolio account, there are options under settings, including

"Custom Domain

If you have your own domain name registered, you can configure it to become the address to all your pages.

This feature is not available with your subscription level, please consider Upgrading.

* Use Zenfolio domain name for your Zenfolio pages
(http://jakehegnauer.zenfolio.com/ (external link))

o Point a custom domain name to your Zenfolio pages Instructions"

Note, as far as Zenfolio is concerned, I am using the default .zenfolio.com account. But my domain site is configured such that once you click my domain name and get to my Zenfolio page, the address will remain "www.jakehegnauer.com" no matter what links of the website you click. Again, none of this is set up on Zenfolio. It was done with my domain hosting.

Thanks for the replies. I do have my domain configured properly at GoDaddy, according to the instructions provided by Zenfolio. When I select Custom Domain in my Zenfolio account, it asks for the URL. When I put the URL in the box it tells me that my domain is incorrectly configured.

Finally got squared away. Turns out that I was just being impatient. I needed to wait almost 24hrs. for the DNS tables to update. SteveNovakovich.com is now up an running on Zenfolio.

Thanks for your input.

Hah! Imagine none of us considering that.
And indeed, it is working fine now. Nice :)
