Back in August 2017, I bought my very first Macro and L lens. While outside testing it out, I was taking a picture of some flowers to get a feel for the lens. I came upon this one pink flower that caught my attention and took a picture of it and just left to try something else. When I got back to my workstation to see the pictures I noticed this little guy in one of my test shots:

I did not even see him when I took the photo! Considering I shot wide open at 2.8 and having a very narrow DoF, it was a very happy accident!

Yep, had things like that happen many times. There are tons of tiny critters that never get noticed.

I was shooting 3X closeups a year ago of a buffaloberry flower. These flowers are tiny! I had brought a little twig inside and was photographing it with my macro gear. Then i noticed a tiny spider had come out of a little crevice by the flower and started to walk around.
