Looks like an entry level hybrid of the X100 and X-T20.

This would be a great travel option if you want to be extremely lightweight. Maybe this can replace my x70;-)a

It’s some where between the x-a5 and the x-t20

I don’t know what I think. The flip out screen would be great for vlogging but then they used a 2.5mm mic input instead of a 3.5. Since the majority of external mics use a 3.5 jack that seems kind of stupid to me. However fuji’s Own external mic comes with a 2.5mm connector so I guess not surprising.

4K video at only 15fps seems like a “why even include it” moment but I’m sure it’s included so they can say it does 4K.

On the photo side it uses the x-a5’s sensor instead of the x-t20, t2, pro2, 100f sensor. I have no experience with that sensor and while I’m sure it’s good it’s just not the same sensor I’m now used to.

I do like the control dials on the top being mappable as function button. Though I would much rather have iso, shutter speed, and exposure compensation as is on my x-t2 I get that this is not an x-t2! I’m assuming that they can be mapped for iso and exposure compensation (I know for sure that iso is an option for one of them) so that is nice. The removable hand grip on the front is a cool idea. I have a feeling most people will use it but having the option to take it off is neat is not really needed.

If I needed a vlogging camera I would probably consider this over getting a canon sl2 just because it can use my Fuji lenses. However I still think the sl2 is a better option there just because of the dual pixel af and the 3.5mm mic input.

For just another Fuji body I think I’d rather spend the extra $200-$300 ($200 now since it’s on sale) on the x-t20 or x-e3. But the x-t100 is an interesting new option, just don’t think it’s for me.

Also as far as being a light weight option......well it actually weighs more then the x-t20!!! Which in turn weighs more then the x-e3. So really the x-e3 is still fuji’s Lightest weight camera with interchangeable lenses.

I forgot to mention this camera is definitely not geared towards flagship X series users. :-P

Oh without a doubt. I think this is squarely targeted at the small compact and vlogger communities. Of which I am not a member of either so not surprising that it won't really appeal to me.

That said I do think it will do good. Just surprised that its bigger then an x-t20....it actually sits right in-between the x-t20 and x-t2 in weight.

I will say that I would like to see the flip out screen on the x-t3 and x-t30

I've been shooting with the X100T for nearly two years now and am quite happy with it. I use it for street photography, sometimes with the 28 or 50mm conversion lenses. It operates very quickly and quietly.

I have a X100F coming this week and will be turning the X100T over to my daughter. I'm getting excellent 13 X 19 prints from it.

I agree, the X100T is great... but that's not the subject of this thread ;)
