Uploading A Picture When Using The PM Function

Is it possible to upload non gallery photos when using the PM function?
I don't know if that function is just not normally available or if it's not available due to the current issues with this site.

I'm presently getting a little pop up window on a routine basis saying "either some of the forum services are down or my internet connection is down"
Internet connection is not an issue.

No, image upload is not available in PM.

That message happens when a background autopreview save (or other functions) does not get a connection. So, it is a about a small gap in network connection for sure.

I get the "services down or connection is down" message when I take a break while writing a post and am gone too long. Nothing's broken, I just didn't keep the Internet connection active.
