Hej, Everyone.

I am in the process of putting together a portfolio and I want to print up some polapan black and white slide film on which I have shot some nudes.

So my question is "Where do you guys/girls print your nudes?" Since there's just something skeevy about the thought of a 16 year old at the local CVS/Costco/Walmart controlling my images :o, I'm looking for a professional place with an emphasis on professionalism. basically I'm just kind of protective of them.

does any of this make sense?

thanks for the advice.

I use a professional lab with whom I developed a working relationship over a period of years. They know what I want in my prints and they will follow my directions explicitly (and will call me if they don't understand something). Obviously, you haven't established that type of relationship with your printer, but you have to start somewhere. Visit a few of the pro shops in your area. Talk to them and to the printing technician if you can. Look at their work, and give them some negatives or files to print and see if they meet your expectations. Just be aware, you pay for what you get.

A local pro lab is the best option IMHO.
