We were in Geneva last summer but missed Montreaux and other lake cities. With limited time, we had to choose between them and Milan+Como and we chose the latter. Indeed a better choice, but now we need to go back someday and see the lake cities. Montreux looked incredible on the train ride from Geneva to Milan. I think I caught the castle in a pic out the train window as we passed through the city. What a gorgeous part of the world!

We were lucky enough to have time to visit Milan and then go to Switzerland. Both are wonderful. Montreux was a (long) day trip from Luzern where we stayed, but I’m glad we went.
