JPG Has Bluish Tint When Importing To Lightroom 6 - WB Issue?

Hello,

At first I was having issues with RAW images not being imported into Lightroom with the correct WB, but I understand why that is. I decided that for the items I am shooting it is better for me to shoot JPEG, so that the image imported is exactly what I see in the preview screen, but I've hit a snag. The image looks great in preview, but once imported it still turns to a bluish tint....Any ideas? Can I reinstall Lightroom to fix this? I'm wondering if I may have clicked on something by mistake because it never used to do this.

Thank you!

In Lightroom while importing, do you have anything that is checked in the "Apply During Import" drop-menu?

That was the first thing I checked and nothing is selected. I tried resetting my preferences, but the blue tint remained.

Thank you!

If LR's user interface looks normal but the image looks wrong, then it is probably a color profile issue. That is something you fix in the operating system. I don't have links at the moment. Can you confirm the non-image parts look OK but not the image?

Everything in the program looks fine except for the color that is imported. I tried searching for "monitor driver", but only see "graphics driver"....I have an HP 15-ay039wm.

Thank you!!

Thanks for this! I did some research and looked at the color profiles for my monitor and somehow it was using a "Red River" printer paper profile, so I clicked on reset to factory default and restarted my computer. It works fine now, but I wonder how the profile got switched in the first place.

Thank you!!
