My picture was of a champagne glass. It has bands of transparent relief. I put some colourful cloth behind it, used an office light from the side and shot it in different ways. The one that I selected and posted here is of the glass on its side. All was done in camera. No Photoshop. Just resized it and applied a bit of edge sharpening.

EDIT: including a thumbnail of the pic (as it's been a while... :p ):

My reveal - it's a closeup of a corner of window glass, cropped, rotated, and finished in PS.

Cool to see the actual subject, Tim.

Following your example I took a quick shot of the champagne glass. Even now colours are reflected.

Loved all the comments on mine! Thanks! :-)

I just took a shot looking straight down on a large smooth rock right at the oceans edge. I used analog efex pro to add some interest. ;-)a

as I already said it started with blueberries. I also thought of doing an ICM but didn't take the time to experiment with the technique and learn how.

Wow. That's amazing. I only get to see these kinds of snakes in the zoo!

And thank you, Don, for your kind words on my pic.

If you hadn't mentioned the source, I don't think I'd have been able to ever guess they were berries!

I wouldn't have, either, if it hadn't been my photo. Almost all the contributions left me clueless this week.
