May 30, 2018 14:18 | #1 Caught this bittern mid-day on the Alamosa NWR in South central Colorado. Thought it was a GBH from a distance, but was pleasantly surprised to discover it was a bittern. Thanks Bill. I've enjoyed a good run this spring with the 7D and Tammy. Easily my best bird photography so far. Shoot first and ask questions later.
