Worth upgrading from 6D to 5D Mark IV?

Yes and 5Dmk4 has that new Auto WB White setting (AWB W), that i loooove. No more yellow photos that takes hours to edit into submission.

If shooting a pretty consistent env even with mixed lighting, I ALWAYS shoot a custom WB. I don't mess with WB after the fact very often. AWB, even the new mode, just isn't a great way to capture good images with good WB, thing can throw either of the AWB modes off.

I just added a 5D Mark IV to my bag and absolutely love it. It is my first full frame camera but will not be my last. I also have a Canon 7D Mark II and Canon 80D to round things out.

You just raised the bar in how critical you will get in IQ.

The only thing I really wish the 5dmk4 had was a pivoting lcd screen. Otherwise I'm still happier with the shutter response with the mirrored body over my Sony A7iii and Fuji X-t2. I virtually NEVER miss a beat with the 5dmk4.
