Challenge #11 - Macro

OK, folks, it's time to make the most of those nice, sharp lenses that Canon put in our cameras!

I don't really care what you photograph: it could be living, or it could be completely synthetic; it could be something from your home, or it could be something you found in the great outdoors.

All that matters (apart from the requisites, like lighting and composition) is that I can see every little detail in all its sharp glory.

Best of luck and happy photographing to you all!

Question: what is considered macro? How close should the shot be to the subject?

Well, for sure, the camera should be in macro mode. I'd say the subject size would normally be in the range of a few centimetres to a few inches.

I have a plug-in for firefox that when I right click on most photos, gives me the option to read the exif data. Other than that, you can right click on the file on your computer, click properties, click the tab summary, click the advanced button, and there you are.
The plug-in is called OPanda, but I forget where I got it, someone here in the forums recommended it.

I also want to thank BullittMan for the firefox extension, Opanda. How incredible is that?
