Once in a while, when I want to get rid of a stray leaf or bit of litter, I use the simple cloner in Photos (it only does circles), but the area ends up looking smeared. Either the tool is primitive or I'm using it wrong.
.
Here's one recent example of Photo's clone tool usage:

I use it this way a lot.
. If I try to use it for other things, like copying a part of the image and trying to paste it to another part of the image, it doesn't work very well.
. I feel like it's more of a "heal" tool than a "clone" tool.
."Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
