Who is shooting stills with Arca-Swiss compatible plates on their cameras, and also video using the very common Manfrotto PL501-compatible video heads or clamps? The Manfrotto standard has been picked up by many manufacturers on the video side.
It seems like if I want to throw a still cam on a tripod, it's going to be a video tripod that's most handy. Or maybe I'd like to use my ground-level tripod without changing heads, or some other video rig...
In such situations I've been screwing a 501 plate to the bottom of my AS plate... but now:

It arrived today - a simple device that works as it should. Oddly, the AS clamp portion has the sort of tightener knob you might find on a 15mm rails system, but it all works as it should.
