Looking for a new body for my daughter's birthday. She's using a T3i but keeps hijacking my 7D Mark II. She deserves an upgrade. See Canon has the 80D refurbished. That seems about as good a deal as any for that. She shoots mostly animals and lots of horse stuff. Any thoughts? Thx.

Canon 7D Mark II; Canon 70-300mm "L"; Canon 100mm Macro; Tamron 24-70mm; Tokina 11-16mm 2.8

B&H has it new for $999. Don't know where you saw it for $799 but you may have to pay shipping and/or tax, B&H will not charge you for either. PLUS: a shoulder bag, memory card, extra battery + 13 months of Canon Care insurance coverage.

Also, 4% rewards from B&H which means you will get a $40 gift card.

I think you can find a better deal out there. Personally, I've seen them go for 1k which includes a bag or SD card. Good choice of a camera tho!
