I've been looking at books and youtube videos on editing in lightroom, and so far they've been almost entirely useless to me.
The books I've seen are all for beginners, and they aren't very technical.
The youtube videos I've seen are people who have no clue what they're talking about (calling LoCA the same as LCA, and blaming the camera body), or they'll show an edit they like to do (which I think is ugly.)
So, I'm looking for one of two things:
1) Technical info on adjustments (i.e., difference in white and highlight - technically speaking)
2) Edits that often look good; generalized suggestions. For example, I saw one video where the person used graduated filters instead of vignette, because he didn't want to darken the sky. The result was nice.
Suggestions?
