What camera is needed to get that awesome photograph?
Watching some vids where photog is using an eight by ten film camera and getting awesome results. Proving one doesn't need high end digital gear.

Camera doesn't matter... much. For what I do, pretty much not at all. I take the same kinds of photos with an FX-3 S2K as I do with a T2, XSi, 1D4, or 5D. I enter a fair number of photo contests; I've won exactly two awards. One with a bridge P&S, and the other with a 60D. The wins had almost nothing to do with the camera deployed. They won because of subject matter, framing, lighting, exposure choices and such (notice: none of that is controlled by the camera). I could have just as easily shot either with a Contax 139, or a 1DX2.

Too bad shooting 8" x 10" film will cost you as much or more than many high end digital cameras. Cameras are expensive, lenses are expensive, film is expensive and unless you only contact print your photos you will pay a lot of money for enlargements. View cameras are fun to use though.
