Nice pic of that spiny orb weaver. "Bug" is a casual term and doesn't really have a precise meaning most of the time. Spider pics are welcome in this thread. There is also a dedicated spider thread.

This one was extremely docile. For the most part it was just looking to hide in shade somewhere. I had to do a little prodding to get it to move around a bit. That's why there's some water in some of the shots, if something is being a little camera shy I sometimes use a light mist to get them to move. Seems to be the nicest way to give them some motivation, and considering this is a desert it may be appreciated as well!

This one was also pretty large, probably 3/8 of an inch or so, that made it a lot easier to get some shots rather than trying to focus on the little tiny hyper-active ones I usually see around
