Bioluminescent glow-worm (Arachnocampa flava) with its snares at Springbrook National Park. These are the larvae of a fungus gnat which produce light to attract prey insects, which become trapped in the sticky mucus on the snares. Very cool little insects!

Great stuff. Never seen ladybug babies before. And the glow worm - a different world.

First insect I've seen in awhile, and I didn't even see it while taking the photo. I have the worst tunnel vision in the world, so focused on the flower and frost I never saw the fly till on my computer. Not true macro though.
