It was a harder shot than it looks as it was quite dark and the male was very active !!

I have a difficult time photographing that scene cause the male will wiggle his butt and it makes me laugh. Excellent shot!

A very nice series, John. They are sharp and bright. It looks like you were using flash, yet were able to keep the backgrounds from going too dark.

Thanks Arch. The large DIY diffuser and +2/3 stop ev comp on the flash help brighten up most backgrounds without over exposing the subjects.
