Looks like a Mason Bee, and if so those images are well below life size. Plus the images are square, so I recon they are cropped quite a bit.

Oh yes indeed. And nice for it not to be raining all day today too.
I am really pleased to have a twin flash again as I really think it improves the lighting. I will experiment with it to try and work out the best flash head placement and angle (or just copy what has been suggested by some of the macro experts on here)
