Sep 15, 2020 08:14 | #4877 I like the simplicity of this though the shadow on its back kind of ruins it. Image hosted by forum (1063774) © PSteven [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

Great image. I've never seen them lay eggs, although I'm no expert. From this stage, they pupate & emerge ladybugs.

Sep 16, 2020 09:47 | #4886 It can be interesting to see how bugs get along when they meet. Seems these were OK with each other. Ants tend to be very aggressive, even against much bigger insects. Canon R5 and R7, assorted Canon lenses, Sony RX100, Pentax Spotmatic F

Sep 16, 2020 22:26 | #4889 Thanks for the remarks and great bug buddy shots. I've got thousands of pics to go back and review this winter. Should be posting lots of surprises when I look closer at the files. There's so much going on in that environment that you just can't find without a great macro lens. The Sigma 105 is sweet as you can see.
