Here is one example. To catch a snail and an ant head-to-head was a pure coincidence.

Wow. Looks like the snail won that one.

I'm not sure if those red specks are eggs or poop but I found that guy by following a red trail through the field of white fly eggs. The white flies leave the fly eggs field coated with honey dew where they lay eggs as food for the new flies that hatch according to what I have read. It said the ant colonies farm the honey dew and will fight off white fly predators who eat it. Apparently that includes the white flies too.

Started back macro but instead of my old rig( 5dmk3/mpe-65/mt24 flash ),I was curious about micro 4/3.Picked up an Olympus EM-1 MK2/Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 macro,Laowa 50mm 1-2x,ST8 dual flash,Meike 320 flash, extension tubes, and a Raynox250,so lots of new toys to play with.Unfortubately the macro season is shortly coming to an end here in Ontario Canada. Why the switch from Canon? I,m in my mid sixties and wanted something lighter,Ibis is nice, options to focus stack, focus bracketing are bonuses, and it fits my one handed technique better! One of my first shots with the Olympus combo.Diffusion is a work in progress! Ambush bug female EM-1 MK2 What a nice ambush bug! Good to hear that Olympus is giving you the results you want.
