Thanks. It wasn't a macro lens. Leica M 262 with a Voigtlander 50 1.2 at f/2

Nice & close. I was told (not sure if accurate) that the "daddy long legs" are extremely poisonous & can easily kill a human BUT they cannot pierce our skin???

Wow you had me worried for a moment as I get quite a few daddy long legs in my house and always just cup my hands around them to put them out the window.

Thanks! Yes, it's not very common behavior for insects But we have a few in Australia that do this.

Wasps nest in hole (perhaps an old Rabbit hole), you can see they have mud in their mandibles, presumably to build up and narrow the hole entrance.
